ROTARY DISTRICT 7600 DISTRICT GOALS

 

2009-2010

 


Membership

  • Have more fully paid members at the end of the year than we had at the beginning.
  • 80% retention rate
  • Charter One New Rotary Club
  • One new Interact Club
  • One new Rotoract club


Service Projects

  • Have 100% participation in the EREY
  • District per capita $150/member
  • Number of sustaining Members – 1,800
  • Paul Harris Society Membership – 100
  • New Benefactor Members – 50
  • New Bequest Society Members – 4
  • New Major Donors – 4
  • Number of Clubs achieving “Triple Crown” distinction  - 1
  • Number of clubs becoming 100% Paul Harris Clubs – 1
  • Increase the PolioPlus Challenge Grant of $1,000 per club by an additional $1,000 per club = $2,000/club.

 

RI President John Kenny’s Charge – thus our goal

  • Be Proud of Rotary Core Values – Be Responsible in everything we do and everything we say – in our clubs, in our jobs, in our communities, and in our homes. 
  • Continue to work for the health and well-being of not only children but their families, and of people everywhere
  • Continue to concentrate on Water (and sanitation), Health, Hunger and Literacy  - - greatest need as well as the greatest benefit from Rotary Service worldwide.

 

Governor Karlis’ self imposed objectives

  • Assemble a great futuristic thinking District team
  • The best DTTS, PETS and District Assembly
  • Enjoyable club visits
  • Host a fun filled & informative District Conference
  • Recognize at least 75% of the clubs as Presidential Citation clubs
  • Have 100% of membership participating in the EREY
  • Revisit and revive and revive the second Object of Rotary – that of High Ethical Standards in business and Professions. 
  • Restore the importance of classification – the basis - - the requirement - - for membership.
