Presidential Retreat

Where: Airfield 4H Center, Wakefield, VA

The Presidential Retreat is for Club Presidents, Presidents-elect, Assistant Governors, and District Committee chairs. You can register on the district database or mail/fax/email your registration to Mary at the District office. We wish to have every club in the District represented at the retreat.

District Team Training Seminar (DTTS)

Where: Chanco-on-the-James
Date: Saturday, February 27, 2010

DTTS is a Rotary requirement for the incoming leadership team. Your training event commences at 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. with Registration/Continental Breakfast and adjourns at 4:30 on Saturday. In between, we have a full day of Rotary plans and focused activities to bring DGE Jayne’s team together – New Rotary Theme, Jayne’s Goals, Assistant Governor Training, Staff Value Propositions, and Program Updates. We’ll even find some time for lunch and a couple of breaks.

President Elect Training (PETS) (Districts: 7600, 7610, 7620, and 7630)

Where: Westfields Marriott, 14750 Conference Center Drive , Chantilly, VA 20151

Date: March 4 - 6, 2010
Note: ALL Hotel Reservations are made through Chesapeake PETS. Do NOT make reservations directly with hotel!!

ALL ATTENDEES MUST REGISTER. And ALL Registrations include Friday night in hotel and all meals. Thus minimum registration fee is $415 for a Private Room and $350 for a Shared Room.
ALL Rotarians serving as Club President during the 2010-11 Rotary year MUST attend PETS.

Registration for non PETS Attendees

President-elect Ray will share with you his plans for the 2010-11 Rotary Year. He has been a Rotarian since 1961 and is a former ambassadorial scholar. PE Ray has already told us: “I will have the special privilege of serving as the 100th president of our great organization. After 50 years, Rotary is still an exciting experience for me, and no one else owes a greater debt to Rotary. Therefore, I hope to combine my excitement, commitment and Rotary experience to be the kind of leader that Rotary deserves in its 100th president. After all, that is the least I can do because I was a Rotary Scholar!”
